My top 5 new skincare finds!

I have got quite oily, acne prone skin and lately my skin has been really bad :( However I have been using some new products (some newer than others) which I absolutely love! So here are some of my top 5 new skincare finds...

I have used this on/off for about a year, but since Christmas I have been using this every single night to take off my makeup. It dissolves it all away and leaves my skin so clean and fresh! I don't usually use the Liz Earle muslin clothes; after recommendation from Caroline Hirons I use just normal Primark flannels. They are much more effective and exfoliating :) I have this in the 200ml version, as it's much better value. However they do it in loads of different sizes, including a starter kit with a muslin cloth if you are new to it. Although it is on the slightly expensive side, it's definitely worth it and I really recommend it!

This is a completely new find for me, and I loveee it! It's my first time using an exfoliating toner, as I  usually use the traditional abrasive bead scrubs to exfoliate my skin. I find those too harsh though, and they also spread bacteria, especially since I already have spots. This is much more concentrated yet more calming for my skin, and is a super effective way to get brighter skin. It also is an amazing product to prep your skin for any moisturisers or serums.

I have been recently using this lush tea tree water as a toner. It comes in a spray bottle which I absolutely love. Instead of using a cotton pad I just spray this all over my face, meaning a lot less product is wasted. I use it after the exfoliating toner and it sinks in almost straight away, helping to calm any redness. I have the £3.95 version and I have been using it for about 2 months and it is still almost full!

My bargain product which I absolutely love is this night treatment gel from Boots. This was only £1.99 and was a random buy after I saw it in Boots, and I'm super glad I bought it! I apply it after the tea tree lush toner, or just straight after the exfoliating toner, and it leaves my skin really moisturised yet still fights spots and helps to mattify my skin. It works overnight, and although it isn't a miracle worker, it definitely helps to calm my skin down, and for a mere £1.99 you can't really go wrong!

I love this because it is so calming for my skin and doesn't irritate it at all. It is so silky to rub into the skin after using the hot cloth cleanser, and leaves my skin feeling so clean and amazing.

Hope you enjoyed this post, what are your favourite skincare products?
